Evo-Stik League Northern Premier Division - Tuesday, 11th October 2016
Mickleover Sports 0 Halesowen Town 1
Kaiman Anderson's 12th goal of the season in the first minute of the game made sure Halesowen's good run continues in the league and they are now unbeaten in six games.
ANDERSON scored from close range after 30 seconds but if they thought it was going to be easy then they received a reality check when goalkeeper Daniel Platt was forced to scramble the ball away and then made a good save on 14 minutes.
Malcolm Melvin scuffed a shot just wide for Halesowen as the action packed first half continued and Anderson saw a shot parried away by Jake Eastwood right on half time.
The second half by contrast was quieter although Mickleover put the pressure on to try and get the equaliser, with Platt saving from former Birmingham City striker Clinton Morrison.
For Yeltz, Jordan Goddard put a free kick straight at Eastwood and a swerving Melvin free kick went just wide but Halesowen will be happy with another three points which puts them in 15th position.
